The challenge
As a busy teacher and parent, he often found that the stress of the day followed him home. “I’d bring the accumulated stress from work into my interactions with my family,” he said. “I’d end up behaving in ways I later regretted.” The weight of work and family life left him searching for a way to reset, recharge, and show up as the person he wanted to be.
Discovery
When he learned Vedic Meditation with Rich, something shifted. Taking just 20 minutes after work before seeing his family created space to release the day’s tension and reset his state of mind. “It feels like I hit the reset button and put myself in a better mindset for positive interactions,” he shared.
The Experience
Through daily practice, meditation became the foundation for greater calm and presence. “Things still stress me, but the feeling doesn’t linger like it used to,” he said. “I’m calmer and happier around my kids, and even if I lose it, the feeling dissipates much sooner than before.” Over time, he noticed he was less reactive, more patient, and more content — at work and at home.

The Transformation
“As a result of this daily practice, I’ve changed in ways I didn’t expect,” he said. “I no longer hold onto grievances, and I look forward to my meditation every day. I now fit my life around the practice because it has such a profound effect on my life.”
